Firstly about the image I've chosen from Flickr - the different colours, while able to be used individually, can be used together to create a picture. In the same way members of a team, while they may have individual tasks,can work together to perform or 'creat' a job, each adding their own part of the picture.
Looking at the State Library Flikr photos, it was good to see photos of events there as well as of the buildings, showing people doing things here. It would be nice to see photos of not-so-often-visited places as well, such as the Shakespeare Room with it's stained glass and carved ceiling.Not having a digital camera I can't help there!

Well it's been an interesting start to the exercise - it took two goes to get a gmail account, but it worked the second time so that felt better. What do I hope to learn? Well, more about stuff that I may have only heard of, such as flickr. It was interesting to find out where the word blog comes from. And it was interesting to see some of the institutions that have blogs - a good variety of layouts and images.Hoping the rest of this goes smoothly
